Empowering Lives: Rehabilitation in Israel
Welcome to our initiative aimed at making a lasting impact on the lives of soldiers, war-wounded individuals, and communities affected by terrorism in Israel. We are excited to announce the establishment of our Rehabilitation Department, a crucial step towards holistic recovery and support
About Us
As a government sports organization under the Sports Director, we have received approval to create an official Rehabilitation Department. This private center will receive partial state subsidies, and our primary objective is to gather donations to fully subsidize the rehabilitation of those in need
Certainly! Here's the updated "Our Approach" section:
Our Approach
Our rehabilitation approach is comprehensive and holistic, addressing the diverse needs of our beneficiaries. Group integrations, accompanied by professionals from the field of psychology, provide a supportive environment for individuals on their journey to recovery. Additionally, our program includes parent training sessions, offering guidance and assistance for those dealing with post-traumatic children.
For individuals with body and movement injuries, we offer specialized physical psychotherapy training. This tailored approach ensures that each participant receives personalized care to maximize their rehabilitation outcomes.
Furthermore, our integration into training groups continues to focus on physical rehabilitation through weight training, mobility exercises, and yoga. We strive to empower our participants with the tools they need for both physical and mental well-being.
Current Projects
We are already fully subsidizing projects such as kibbutzim and youth projects in communities from the Gaza Strip, supporting rehabilitated soldiers, and connecting the wounded with relevant therapists.
Sustainable Funding
Looking ahead, we aim to establish a sustainable funding model through annual donations, determining operational hours based on the contributions received.
Collaboration with the Ministry of Health
In collaboration with the Ministry of Health, our rehabilitation program costs 5500 NIS for 10 individual treatments and 5 group treatments, with the state contributing 2000 NIS per patient. Donations will be directed to the "Mador" company, with anticipated tax-recognized status in two years under section 47.
How You Can Help
For those interested in supporting this crucial initiative, a donation of NIS 350 covers one hour of treatment after state participation. Donors will be acknowledged on the "Mador" website, and concentrated group donations will be recognized with shirts and other incentives for their participation in this national effort.
Contributions can be made via the IKF Israeli school account, ensuring full transparency in the donation process. Each donation should specify the donor's name, country, or representing organization to facilitate a transparent and accountable procedure for every contribution.
